True fact: the 2nd Amendment has also never been used to defeat a
gun-control measure (I don't think it's merely never been used
successfully, I think it's never been _attempted_, because under all the
rhetoric, the general legal consensus is that it would fail). Gun laws
that have been struck down have been defeated through other means.
