(A party attempting to appear "moderate"? That doesn't even sound like a
coherent English sentence to me anymore. Too long in exile...)
Anyway, I don't think capital punishment has ever failed to be supported
by a majority of Canadians whenever somebody takes a poll. But anybody
who thinks that should have any effect on the laws of the land also ought
to support legal recognition of angels and astrology and the ability to
sue people for bringing you "bad luck", and all the other harmful medieval
superstitions that refuse to die.
