I kind of liked Jeff Gordon, but Martin was a close second.
But, I must admit that I initially tried to pick them on
the basis of their location. Many NASCAR drivers have
their shops in the Central Piedmont of NC. I figured I should
pick a local as my fave since I was living in that
area, too. But, dammit, they seem to move. Martin used
to be in Liberty, NC. but then I saw him listed
as somewhere else. Same with Gordon -- he was in Indiana
or some godawful place, then turn around and he's in NC.
Guess I've got lots to learn.
Richard Petty was talking about running for Gov. of NC,
