The Reform Party is a bunch of right-wing extremist whackos. They
accepted campaign contributions from the KKK. I think that killed
their chances in the last election, but I think everyone has already
forgotten about it. Their latest stunts, however (esp. the caning thing)
will keep them out of the running for a while yet. Whackos. Worse
than Mike Harris, and that's tough to do.

Your remark about _22 Minutes_ reminded me: I read an interview with
Mary Walsh (22 Minutes star). She was asked why Canadians were such
huge fans of satire (in light of the fact that 1.3 million Canadians
watch her show every week, and 1.6million watch "Air Farce".)

Her comment: when Americans don't like their leaders, they shoot them.
When Canadians don't like their leaders, we make fun of them. :D

Sort of sums it all up, doesn't it? *grin*
