Speaking of "Re: nobody gives a damn about the UFOs .. / I heard one", jp
may hath scrawled:

weird stuff, jp... could it have been a minor earthquake? I was in a pretty
big one once (no, no damage, but the buildings shook) and it _sounded
really weird_. Or, could it have been hail or a big gust of wind?

Along the lines of potentially weird almost-natural (natural gas, eh?)
disasters: we had a major gas line rupture here in Mtl yesterday. They cut
off the power to many parts of downtown montreal and avoided an explosion.
wow, that would have been messy if that'd happened...

fran
who is starting her spring cleaning NOW. Tonight. Watch -- I'll regret that
in a half hour when Friends comes on, but it does mean I won't be playing
caterpillar tonight, thank god.
