yeah, they just don't seem to get it. We, while many of our age are
presently deeply in debt and in the midst of our education, are the
people who are gonna be the 'up and coming' with more disposable income
than brains :> (generalizing, I know...but hey, if you're between 20 and
40, have a computer, net access, and an education, you are doing pretty
well and will probably continue to improve...)

I am going to be buying lots and lots of things in my life. Computers,
cars, a house, furniture (ooo...I dream of having *new* furniture),
housewares (believe it or not, I want matching dishes. *pout*), etc.

Someday, I'll have a job. Someday, more than likely, I'll get married
and have a family. Someday...etc. No, right now I'm not much of a
financial powerhouse, but right now I *am* developing my brand-loyalties
which may very well last the rest of my life. Advertisers are stupid.
They ignore us (or talk down to us, which is worse) forgetting that
we're gonna be the one's with the cash pretty soon.

Business folk should realize that sporadically treating the 20/30something
generation with a little bit of respect *will* pay off. (Especially
in a University town like this one, but that's a whole different
enchilada.)

All I ask of businesses is:

1) be polite
2) be prompt
3) don't treat me like I'm an idiot.
4) don't treat me like I'm not worth your time and effort.

Sure, I'm only 25, barely out of my teens, in the greater scheme,
but...hey, I'm gonna be a university grad soon. I'm gonna have a
job soon...etc.

If a business gives me good, polite, knowledgable, caring serivce,
they have my loyalty for life. Especially in this day in age, when
good service is the *exception* and not the rule.

(hm...If I were a business person, I'd sure wish I was in on this
converesation/rant... :)

- Deb (sick of giving her money to people who don't seem to want it.)

pardon the atrocious grammar, but right now, I Don't Care!! It's
SPRING outside!!! Sun, shining, birds, twittering, fresh air,
open windows, no jackets, snow, melting.........Light!!!!

To really appreciate spring, I think you have to be a Canadian :>
