I heard on the news it was just a war game error, and both US pilots were
rescued. Every year a bunch of Pacific countries have war games/training
in the Pacific (is that an oxymoron?) and something like this is bound
to happen occasionally, IMO.

No, man; the Honda Civic and Accord. :-)

By the way, I'm going there (Japan) in July!!! Time to brush up on my
Japanese:

Boku no Nihon-go wa totemo warui desu!

Last summer I made a fool of myself (no surprise there, eh) at a wedding
of a Canadaian man and a Japanese woman, by singing a song, alone,
with a mic, in Japanese. I sang it very very fast, but I don't think
I made any errors...

Zoo-san, zoo-san,
O hana ga nagai no ne,
Soo yo, ka-san mo
Nagai no yo.

It means something like:

Mr. Elephant,
Your nose is long isn't it?
Ya, well that's cuz my mom's nose is long.

Must have been the sake...
