Sunday Idyll or is this Future Culture?

Woke early , and did some Bao Dao Yin exercises in preparation for the
mornings training. Breakfasted on banannas and tea, with orange juice ,I
squeezed myself . 3 hours of laughter and hard work in the sunny aspected
village hall we practise our Sunday morning Tai Chi in .

Hot sweaty and hungry , we left the hall , and Cup made a diversion in the
car through sunny fields and shady woods filled with bluebells , to an old
farm , which only produces Watercress. Some of the troughs in the patch date
back to the Tudors (300 plus years) . We collected our bunches from an old
out building , placing our money in the honesty box , and carried on with our
journey home.

I have just finished a plate of sandwiches , loaded with watercress , and
stilton , which comes from a dairy a few miles away , with slices of
tomatoes.

Sitting in the sun , I realised that the entire day apart from the bread and
cheese would have been nearly impossible 2 generations ago to someone like
myself.

OK the watercress was grown closer , until the last 30 years , but everything
else was a virtually unknown before the 30's.

To travel 20 miles to study a chinese martial art , eating fruit that comes
from thousands of miles away, to make a 10 mile detour to pick up something
as a treat !

Totally unheard of for a working man 60 years ago.

Made me wonder though, what will someone in my situation be doing , on a
sunny day off ,in the year 2056 ?
