Bugger , didnt happen , sent an e-mail off to the Hawks home page and
reply arrived today saying that they knew nothing about it , this was
despite articles in i-D and the guardian. Worrying thing was that the
reply was a real bread head reply talking about revenue for the band ! I
remember going to preview gigs of new albums and tours in the 80's , when
they used to play for 45 mins and say "turn the tapes now" , pause and
carry on ! Now I get e-mails going on about lost revenue !! kerrist this
band have played more free gigs than the dead ever did , and have been
going nearly as long , have put out so many records I have lost count ,
and still never get played on ANY radio in the UK or show up on the Box ,
but can still sell out gigs !
What the fuck are they worried about a CUSeeMe session losing them
revenue !
