Thanks for the lead, Dwayne -- in my abysmal ignorance, I've never
heard of the TAL routers. Hmmmm... a wireless router?! I'll definitely
check out the website. 110K --> 440K?! If you're right, that should spell
the end of ISDN lines. What's the cost of the TAL set-up?

Put me on your list! :<)

I can see why you're not salivating over my plan. No use telling
someone who has been fasting for weeks, "Let me tell you about my plan
for doing without chow for a while."

Since we bagged our tv about 2 years ago, I have the weirdest reaction
to seeing shows when I wind up in the vicinity of a set. About a week ago
I visited a brewpub whose tv was tuned into "Jeopardy." I felt like an
anthropologist from Alpha Centauri spying on the quaint but fascinating
customs of the natives. The MC! The Slavic contestants! The questions!
The very idea of scoring $1,200 for knowing who painted "The Man with a
Golden Helmet!" The ads so dopey that the Marx Brothers couldn't parody
them! Hey, Dwayne, maybe we're missing out on some real dada humor.
