I seriously doubt it.

Do you -really- believe this?
The phrase "no taxation without representation" or whatever it was, seems
to be a complaint about the lack of representation of the feelings of the
colonists in the British Parliament, as opposed to a compaint about high
taxes.
I know what I'd be more annoyed about....

I can't think of any where taxation was the primary factor.
