hi Tony
lots of different directions offered in prev. msgs.
confusing?
that's how it is for us computer types as well...
I've been in the leading edge of software development
since 1958 -- yah that's old -- and seen it all come and go.
BUT if you can spell Internet -- get on it --- what ever it takes
get a computer and a modem and get on line --- actually
NetCom is a good provider with a good browser and full
utility access -- News, EMail, Chat --- You don't have to
program to learn to use and exploit this incredibly anarchous
and hence powerful resource --
do research, start a news letter ---
it puts anyone who
can write and think well onto an almost even playing field
with the Corporate Megaliths and the suits. Learning HTML
is also very cool to do Web pages with -- and easy -- lotsa
books in Borders or Barnes and Noble.
JAVA is the next wave of bigtime cool and $$$$$$$
DO BOTH -- write and get cool with the net.
