Wow! What a list.. what a list.. and Mallarme! He's mentioned so
much amongst the surrealists, yet I've never obtained any examples
of his writings.. if there ever was a futurist, it was the surrealists!
Could
you perhaps post an example some time? Also, Trakl and Zweig
don't ring any bells. How about a reference to them?

As would I. She seems to much about good writing and bad. It would
be nice to see what she herself puts out in the good writing arena.

Oh heavens.. if it is, I certainly want counted out!

Obligatory poem:

Progress
--------------

The camera crew walked into the coffee shop
Some time around 1:30 and began to set up
On the other side of the bar. Matt looked
Over at Mary, Tim sitting on the far stool,
and said "We've got the prep, the hippie,
the actor, and," looking in my direction,
"The writer." I finished growing my beard
two days ago. When I look in the mirror
I always see a page from Details staring
Back at me with crisp blue eyes, a shot
Of Brandy running around the edges and
A brisk sun shot of yellow around my
Unusually small pupils.

The barista began to speak down into his
Microphone pinned onto the inside of the
white smock he was wearing. The camera
Man kept motioning him to look straight
Into the camera. After he has said his plug
For The Boston Stoker, the camera slowly
Scanned across the four of us, sitting there
In our normal uncaring way, sipping coffee,
Smoking cigarettes, discussing the evolution
Of modern theatre in realtion to DaDa,
Mentioning the three of us starting up
Our own acting troupe-- Mary excluded.

I asked her some irrelevant question in
Order to keep her from feeling like a
Third wheel, something about the evolution
of English poetry or phonetics. She looked
At me with a dumb expresion on her face,
Telling me she didn't understand the
Question. "Does anything really advance?"
Tim asked, pouring another shot of
Moutain grown coffee down the back
Of his throat while the camera man
Continued to immortalize our images.
