For me, on and off the list, poems are guides, spaces, and I actually
read poetry constantly, even in relation to Cyberspace (Euripedes,
Mallarme, John Gay, Blake, Trakl, Zweig all come to mind). It may be a
question of quantity - I'd love to see a poem by Fran for example, but
not a booklet or sonnet cycle (well, yes, but off-list). Certainly
discourse of the future shouldn't be limited to one mode or bundle of
modes of writing...
