Juror Kicked Off Okla. Bombing Case
OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuter) - A former grand juror who indicted the two suspects
in the
Oklahoma City bombing and >>>asked for further investigation into the
identity of John Doe II<<< has
been kicked off the grand jury, a television station reported.
In an interview with KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City Thursday, Hoppy Heidelberg
said he wrote to
Oklahoma Federal Judge David Russell >>>detailing his concerns about the
possibility of another
suspect dubbed John Doe II who has not been found.<<<
``The system wasn't working,'' Heidelberg said in the interview. ``They
said I should write a letter
to the judge. I did so and all it got me was fired.''
According to an excerpt of the letter shown on television, Heidelberg
>>>suggests there was an effort
to hide the identity of John Doe II.<<<
``There appears >>>attempts to protect the identity of certain suspects<<<,
namely, John Doe II,'' the letter
said.
