I was amaed to read (it was mentioned in passing) that the president was
attacked by that bizarre flesh eating disease recently and it ate his leg.
This is incredible.
I hope no one made the obvious possible jokes about his policies.
Anyway what i am wondering is .. I still dont have a clear picture of
Canada, or a simplistic one.
For example: Italy: The North: industrial, rich, hates the south. The
South: poor, no industry, no jobs, hates the north.
What's the wrap-up for Canada ?

IMHO Chris is making an outstanding effort at being extra-nice to people.

Incidentally .. "I told you so" corner .. Mexico 'defalted' on it's 'loan'
pretty much last, um, thursday. And then, not two hours ago, the US houses
passed a balanced budget bill, which Bill ses he will veto - probably next
week -- Monday the vote in Quebec .. one more week and the US Fed
defaults on loans for the first time ever.. the markets have been haywire
... it's all happening at once! maybe there'll be a big stock market crash
!!

Ev, I hear that $100 - $300 million per day has been being sucked out of
Quebec accounts for the last week. That's a lot!
