Dreadful is just the right word!
What's an MOR? Who's this Phiber guy? If he needs help bending the
law (ie, regarding his parole), he certainly has settled in with the
right bunch of people. His boss' family can *drown* people & get
away with it. One the up side, at least he's only inflicting
pseudo-Wired poseur babble on the unwary populace, & hasn't moved on
to murder & rape yet (although my earlier post, in speaking of
John-John's genetic imperatives in the future tense, is already old
hat: John-John's ex-SO Daryl Hannah has cited physical abuse as the
reason why her relationship with the plutocrat-prince ended, according
to a friend of my wife).
Sorry to hear about your paper from Hell. I had one mere weeks ago,
and thus can sympathize. Good luck,
Tony :)

Concerning "_George_: the magazine", Tony Jones hath scrawled:

>Has anybody seen the Home page for the magazine _George_?
>It's got a poll which puts words in the pollees' mouths, & has such
>cutting edge info-you-can't-live-without like what Madonna would do
>if she were President! Yecch! It's <http://www.georgemag.com>. Enter
>at your own risk.

it's dreadful, isn't it? amazing what wealthy people can get away with
in the name of "progress". Or whatever it is they're pushing there.
Something sort of MOR, something pretending to be suave and
sophisticated. It basically made me feel slightly nauseous and
uncomfortable to browse there...

Did anyone else notice that Phiber Optik's name appears in the credits
of the firm who did the page? Guess he sold out, or sort of _had_ to do
some MOR politiking for his parole requirements?
