Really, a few examples of leftist censoring: elimination of cigarette
smoking from television. Elimination of stereotypes they don't agree with
(Greedy, uncaring capitalist/Scrooge is okay; Italian American mobster is
not). Elimination of so-called "hate speech," including designations of
"Italian-American" and "Irish American." Alan, have you been sleeping
during the political correctness movement? Of course, JP may just been
referring to those on the left who want to curb pornography. There's been
a battle within the feminist ranks about pornography for years--check out
Ms. Magazine in the library nearest you. They cover the issue at least once
a year.
