When Wired first came out, I thought it was pretty sharp. Neat mag, neat
format, neat stuff. Now it's just dumb, and not only because of their
anti-Canadian smugness. I bought the most recent issue (almost $7 Can!, geez,
I can get a gawdam paperback for that much, er...before PST/GST etc.)
Anyhow, as I was saying, I bought the most recent issue and proceeded to flip
through it in a matter of 20 mins (if that.) Er...it is just me, or is Wired
whole lotta flashy graphics and next-to-nil content?
I noticed that it's thicker than it used to be, too. Much to my distaste,
it was because the mag is about 80% *advertising* (or it sure seemed so...)
What a stupid magazine. Buy it again? I think not. My $7 is better spent
on a copy of _Sense & Sensibility_ or _The Italian_. For that matter, my
$7 is better spent on pretty much anything other than the home shopping
network. Bleah.
Hmm. Rant off, I guess :>
