My panix.com account is down for part of the day so I'll try to reply to
Joshua at a slightly greater length here and hope it goes through. First,
as I said in the brief reply, logic itself needs deconstruction from
within, which refers to Tarski, Church, Skolem, Godel; sedond, it is
deconstructed from without, which can be considered part of the work of
poststructuralism in general. Third, the whole point of Orientalism is
that there is no "east" which can be totalized; there is no "eastern"
philosophy per se that is not a construct and projection of the West. So
to talk about "eastern" philosophy is already misdirected.
Beyond that I can't reply at the moment because the other messages aren't
