Taylor has asked....

>Should we take all this web talk to a sublist (a big cc:) or does no one
>mind all all talking about it so it stayes out in the open and belongs to
>everyone?

PLEASE DON'T MOVE IT!!! (Sorry about the shouting) <:o}

I am involved in a web project at work, and while I am not accomplished or
even competent, I want to keep up to date and contribute what I can. I have
paged through what's there today, and I am very pleased with our spot. I am
tempted to use it as my Mosaic auto-load HomePage (replacing Lycos, so it is
quite a difficult decision. I think I am a member of the Lycos Fan Club) If
I make it my first page up, I can monitor progress easily. I am getting
together the wherewithall to make my own home page since crl will give me
space for free, and thereabouts comes the question. Does everyone use their
home page as their auto-load first page up? That is the idea, I think, but
some are more work related than others, and some seem to be more information
oriented outward than toward the owner. I remember Spud and Taylor have lots
of useful links to things they prolly work on, so I suppose that the initial
HomePage approach is the most typical. But what if you have your own and
participate in the FutureC HomePage? For work I am thinking we will have a
greetings page for the public, with a "next page" that the employees might go
to first. Does that make sense??

Anyway...the point is that I would appreciate keeping the web space project a
"whole list" topic. If it has to go to a subset....I hereby beg to be in the
subset. And I hate to beg.
