I tend to agree. Ovet the past few months not only has the amount of traffic gone WAAA up on Usenet but the content has gone proportionately down. There's more crap in there than there ever has been and I've been reading the newsgroups for almost three years. Is there any math to correlate the relationship between number of readers/posters and the higher percentage of bullshit being posted? I would imagine so. Mailing lists are the way to go ... and then, of course, carry discussion into forums like IRC, ICB and the like. Steve J. This is definitely my fav topic of discussion. I'll read it and post comments/questions to the list. Since many of us, I'm sure, tend to be a bit e-lazy, is this article too long for posting to the list? I'll be reading it either way but I was just curious if it would work getting out via e-mail. But wouldn't it be interesting to watch as everything that they had to say was added to the collective global Kill File {tm} and no one ever got to see what they had to say because their opinion became the ultimate minority opinion on the net? I haven't quite decided if this is good or bad yet, but we can expect them to be messing with the matrix in one way or another, whether it be good or bad I think is left up to speculation.
